Home SWEET Home

After 3 nights in the hospital we were finally able to come home. Gavin couldn't leave the hospital until he went potty. After his circumcision he went over 24 hours without going. They finally had to do the catheter so that we could go home. Poor guy :(
Check out the skis on him ;)

Gavin's Finally Here!!!

I can't complain...my pregnancy was pretty easy and so was giving birth (thanks to the epidural). We left for the hospital at 10:30 pm and were checked in and in the room by 11:30. They started the induction, but I was already contracting on my own, so by that time I was already ready for the epidural. I pushed for a little less than an hour and out he came;)

Gavin Lee Greenelsh was born on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 6:23 am. He weiged 8 pounds, 7 ounces and was 19¼ inches long (When we went to the doctors that Monday he was 22 inches long).

Gavin had so many visitors while we were at the hospital...Unfortunately I didn't get pictures of everyone ;)

Jessi and Phil came by - she helped us polish off my mom's home baked goodies

Connie came by with adorable little outfits for Gavin

Bob and Stacy were on their way back to Nevada - We caught them just in time

Troopers...they waited out in the hall all night for the little guy to arrive

Daddy was told by the nurse to go home after they started the induction...I'm glad he decided to stay and try to get rest with me.
Gosh, WE LOVE our little man!!!!

More Catching Up......

FATHER'S DAY
We had a busy Father's Day. Nick and I woke up early and drove out to Pauma Valley to pick up a transmission. Then, we had to go to Perris to pick up our trailer and be in Elsinore for breakfast at 10:30. Needless to say we were about 20 minutes late to breakfast. We had breakfast with his family and then headed home to drop off the trailer. We spent the rest of the afternoon down at my parents' house. Later that night we went over and saw Nick's grandparents. What a day!

JESSI'S 26th BIRTHDAY
We went over to the Edison pad to help Jessi celebrate her 26th Birthday. Gosh we are getting old!

We've got Emma trained already ;)

AWAITING GAVIN'S ARRIVAL
We're ready for our little man to arrive. My mom gave me the bassinet that we all slept in (including her) when we were babies. I was so excited to see how cute it turned out when she picked out material and had it done up. I love it mom! Thanks :)

BABY SHOWER
I was fortunate enough to have several showers to welcome our little guy. Ann and Heidi threw me a family shower (unfortunately I didn't have my camera at that one). Jenn, Jessi and my Mom threw me a friend shower as well. These are the pictures from that one. I was also given a shower by the girls at work. They were all wonderful and I truly appreciate all that we received.
The favors were adorable and delicious!

The cake was yummy!

Due dates just a few weeks apart

So glad Stacy was able to fly out :)

More updates....

LAKE HAVASU (Memorial Weekend)
For Memorial weekend, Jeff, Lorelei, Adam, Jenn, Nick and I decided to go to Havasu. The weather was beautiful and it was packed as usual. We really missed our parents though (they were having their own fun over in Sweden). Nick and I can't wait to take Gavin up to the lake :)

Time to do some catching up.....

APRIL

HAVASU
For my birthday we went to Havasu for the weekend. We went up Thursday night with Jessi, Phil and Emma. My parents, Jenn and Adam, and my Grandpa came up Friday night. It was such a relaxing weekend. Right before Emma's melt down-she didn't like the wind

Much better when bundled up

GLAMIS

For Easter we went out to Glamis with the family. My grandpa came out and met us on Saturday. It was really nice weather - minus the wind :)

Holy Cow! (For Josie)

I can't believe how fast the belly is growing! I feel like he grows a few inches every night. We keep trying to take pictures each week, but it turns out to be every few weeks. This is 281/2 weeks...only 11 weeks to go ;-)

Bye Bye Big Red!

Well....we finally sold our buggy today. Nick was really excited, but I found myself to be a little sad. I loved that car. Now we have to wait and see what project he comes up with next!

Lunch with the Girls

It is soooo nice being on break for two weeks...look at the things I get to do. It was so much fun getting together with the girls for some wraps and fries at Red Robin! I can't wait to meet for lunch again. I miss the girly time;)

Thanks to Jessi!

Well, here I am 10 hours later.....finally posting my first blog. It took me forever to figure this background and header thing out. Glad I finally did because I was about to lose my patience :)
